You can easily adjust the voice in Proloquo and choose from more than X free voices.

- Tap Speech
- Tap Voice and select the voice you'd like to use.

How do you adjust the speed and pitch of your AAC voice?
It is possible to adjust the speed and pitch of your chosen AAC voice. You can do that by following these steps:
- Tap the pencil
- Tap the Settings button on the top right
- Tap Speech
- Select Speed and Pitch for [name the AAC user] and adjust as you see fit.
How do you change the pronunciation of a word?
“You like to-mah-to and I like to-may-to”. Well, now we can both have the pronunciation we want!
Here are the steps to adjust how any word is pronounced in Proloquo:
- Tap the pencil
- Tap the Settings button on the top right
- Tap Speech
- Tap Pronunciations
- Tap the
button - Enter the Original Text
- Enter the Pronunciation
Note that each voice has its own unique properties. If you change the voice you’re using, the change in pronunciation might need to be redone.
